Tiny Tigers ages 4-6 years   

Newberry's ATA Black Belt Academy is proud to offer the Tiny Tiger Program, which was developed with our international recognized Karate for Kids Program. The Tiny Tiger Program was developed specially for preschool and kindergarten children 4-6 years of age. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities, or ATA Life Skills, such as courtesy, respect, discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group. The rank and testing system used by the Tiny Tiger is slightly different than that of the Karate for Kids. Tiny Tigers can earn six collectable animal patches to display on their belts as follows: the Tiger for orange belt; the Cheetah for yellow; the Lion for camo; the Eagle for green; the Phoenix for purple; and the Dragon for blue.
