Dear Mr. and Mrs. Newberry:

My son Nathan Kearns has been attending classes at Newberry's ATA Black Belt Academy and currently holds the rank of camo belt. I am so very proud of all his accomplishments. I had no idea what enormous benefits my son as well as myself would gain from becoming part of the Newberry Academy family.

I have watched how all the Newberry instructors interact with the students with such a passionate talent that I personally have never witnessed before. Everyone is treated with the same respect and compassion, which I believe, increases the success of each and every student. It is very clear to me that Mr. and Mrs. Newberry's life is totally dedicated to all of their students and the students know it. In observing class, I have also noticed how all of the higher ranked students help out the less experienced with what appears to me to be a similar passion and dedication. These students are not asked to help, they tend to initiate the help when they see a fellow student having trouble. What a great environment for everyone to learn in. When I sit in class and watch all of your students, I am not only proud of my son and what he has accomplished, but I am also extremely proud of all of your students. I feel it is vital for an individual's success to have the quality that I see in your students. They not only learn self-defense techniques with Songahm Taekwondo, they also learn respect, compassion, perseverance, confidence, goal setting, and leadership.

It seems that in life there are only a handful of important decisions you make which you can reflect on and say to yourself without hesitation, I have absolutely no regrets. Well, having Nathan become part of the Newberry Academy family is one of those decisions my wife and I have made that comes with no regrets. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Newberry, it is truly an honor to know you, your staff and your students.
